The San Joaquin County Special Education Local Plan Area (SELPA) Council of Directors (COD) is responsible for coordinating special education services in the SELPA. The COD meets monthly during the school year and includes the 11 local plan agency directors and the SELPA director. The SELPA director administers and implements regionalized services.
