Education Protection Account Funding

Proposition 30 added an article to the California Constitution effective November 2012, which creates an Education Protection Account to receive and disburse revenues derived from incremental increases in taxes. In November 2016, passage of Proposition 55, extended the Education Protection Act through the year 2030. All monies are continuously appropriated for the support of school districts, county offices of education, charter schools, and community college districts. The attached resolution and expenditure report outline the details of the account for the upcoming school year.
