Pre-Qualification of Vendors/Bid Process
The San Joaquin County Office of Education (SJCOE) requires all bidders on public works projects being undertaken by the SJCOE to meet the following criteria:

1. For projects with a cost less than $175,000, bidders must be an approved contractor. A complete application must be submitted and approved by the SJCOE. Contractor Approval Application

2. For projects with a cost greater than $175,000, bidders must be an approved contractor, and fully complete the pre-qualification questionnaire, provide all requested materials, and be approved by SJCOE to be on the pre-qualified contractors list. SJCOE will use these documents to assess each contractor's qualifications for bidding on projects of varying size and scope.
