Professional Learning and Support, overseen by the deputy superintendent of Professional Learning and Support, directs the Educational Services division within the San Joaquin County Office of Education (SJCOE).
In addition to leading departments under Educational Services- including STEM, Language & Literacy, and the San Joaquin County Special Education Local Plan Area (SELPA)- Professional Learning and Support also oversees CodeStack, Teachers College of San Joaquin, and Comprehensive Health. Cumulatively, these departments and programs provide necessary support services and technical assistance to local districts, as well as facilitate professional development opportunities for teachers, administrators, and districts.
