The A-Squad
The A-Squad is a team of individuals that conduct home visits in order to identify truancy barriers, establish relationships, and provide greater connection to resources.
The team is designed to put more of an emphasis on providing positive services to prevent truancy while also using a countywide approach by uniting school districts, agencies, nonprofits, and the community at large.
The A-Squad's mission statement: We construct a student support system with daily outreach to eliminate barriers that contribute to truancy.
