COVID-19 Vaccine Information

Registration opens for SJCOE vaccine clinic

At 8 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 17, the San Joaquin County Office of Education (SJCOE) opened the first age-based registration tier for the SJCOE COVID-19 vaccine clinic. Employees ages 55 and older were sent email invitations with a unique link allowing them to register for an appointment. This age group has 24-hour priority registration.

On Thursday at 8 a.m., employees in the next-youngest age group will receive an invitation to register for an appointment. Employees in the older age group will still be able to register for available appointments. The notification process will continue until all available appointment times are filled. More appointment slots will be added as additional vaccine becomes available.

The SJCOE understands that many educators are eager to register to be vaccinated. The registration process is data-driven, based on employee information and the availability of the vaccine The vaccination clinics are open to all public and private school employees in San Joaquin County. Only pre-registered and pre-scheduled school employees will be vaccinated on the designated vaccination days.

For more information about the SJCOE vaccination clinics, please go the SJCOE COVID-19 Vaccine and Information and Resources webpage.
