The English Language Proficiency Assessments for California – ELPAC – is the instrument California uses to identify students as English learners and measure their annual progress. Examiners must be trained annually to administer the exams as per State Regulations. ELPAC consists of the Summative Assessment (SA) and Initial Assessment (IA). This training supports the Summative Assessment (SA) administration. Participants must complete the Moodle scoring calibration independently to meet the state requirement.
