The Public Information Office guides the official communication efforts of the San Joaquin County Office of Education (SJCOE). We aim to be responsive and transparent while working to amplify the voices of students and educators, and raise awareness about SJCOE programs and services, public education in San Joaquin County, current initiatives, and local achievements. Part of this work includes:

  • • Overseeing media relations
  • • Producing official organization publications and materials
  • • Guiding and monitoring branding and messaging
  • • Maintaining official SJCOE social media accounts and websites
  • • Other special projects and superintendent initiatives

Publications

Annual Report
The SJCOE plays an essential role in our county’s public education. We provide leadership, services, and support, working in collaboration with our 14 school districts, over 40 charter schools, and more than 153,000 public school students. Our Annual Report reflects just a few of the incredible programs and accomplishments of the SJCOE.

Outlook Magazine
The Outlook magazine is a celebration of education across San Joaquin County. The Public Information Office produces four issues each school year.
