one.Frontier is an attendance intervention school site with a focus on truancy. The students are referred from probation, mainstream school, and the one.program. As students progress and show improvement, they will be placed at another one.school. The focus is to address individual attendance needs with the assistance of various agencies.
The one.Frontier team consists of Child Advocates Parent Coaches (CAPC), clinicians, counselors, formal and informal probation, as well as site teachers. These agencies are on-site weekly and available to both students and parents.
one.Frontier uses a multitude of educational techniques to support these students. All students will participate in-group counseling sessions and academic instruction. Frontier provides follow-up and on-going care to students who successfully complete the intervention and have been transferred to another one.school.
