Results for the 2017 San Joaquin County Academic Pentathlon

The The Gold Team from Rio Calaveras Elementary School was the top-scoring team in the 2017 San Joaquin County Academic Pentathlon, which took place at East Union High School in Manteca on Saturday, April 22.

Sixth- through eighth-graders from across the county started the day in classrooms taking exams testing their language, fine arts, science, math, and social studies knowledge. The Super Quiz, a lively event in front of a crowd of teammates and supporters, capped the day’s competition. Quiz questions centered on the theme of the Pentathlon: World War II.
