The San Joaquin County Office of Education, in partnership with the California History-Social Science Project and regional Ethnic Studies leaders, is coordinating the Capital, Central, Foothills Area* for the California Regional Ethnic Studies Collaborative (Project CRESC) in professional learning and resource development.
Regional Ethnic Studies Professional Learning
- Kick-Off Event: November 14th, 9am – 3pm
- California Museum, Sacramento
- Register by November 8
- FREE, but limited space. Priority will go to classroom teachers who are or will be teaching Ethnic Studies.
Afterschool Virtual Series
- Tuesdays 3:30 – 5:30 pm (Dec. 12, Jan 23, Feb 13, Mar 12, Apr 9, Apr 30, May 14)
- $350 stipend for teachers who attend all 7 virtual sessions.
