The San Joaquin County Office of Education (SJCOE) invites students to write letters and create artwork to send to people living in local residential facilities who are currently not able to receive visitors. Several facilities within San Joaquin County have partnered with the SJCOE and are already looking forward to receiving mail from students.
“Many people are looking for ways to spread kindness during this time,” said SJCOE STEM Programs Director Annie Cunial, who is coordinating the activity. “This activity is a great opportunity for children to share their current experience while brightening someone’s day.”
