Participants will examine Benchmark materials to identify essential program elements and plan for effective ELA/ELD instruction. We will share a successful model we are implementing with teachers which includes:
*guidance from the ELA/ELD Standards and Framework
*high leverage literacy approaches
*classroom examples
Teachers will work with grade-alike colleagues to plan for upcoming instruction using their materials and the ideas presented.
