CalSTRS Benefits Counseling

Benefits Counseling is available to all CalSTRS members, free of charge, who would like information about CalSTRS member benefits and retirement planning; additional service credit and how it can be purchased; Disability Service Retirement; and more.

CalSTRS Benefits Counselors currently offer services by appointment only, Monday through Friday, at San Joaquin County Office of Education.

Also available are CalSTRS Workshops for those just seeking general information regarding CalSTRS programs and benefits. Workshops are targeted at early career members, members who are 10 to 15 years from retirement, members who are three to five years from retirement and members over the age of 45.
