Students travel back to the 1880s during Valley Days in the latest issue of Outlook

Travel back in time to the 1880s in the latest issues of the SJCOE Outlook. Valley Days at the San Joaquin County Historical Society and Museum introduces students to local history with firsthand experiences, like panning for gold and stoking a blacksmith's forge.

The latest issue of the SJCOE's online Outlook magazine looks at how Valley Days and other ideas can help history come alive in the classroom.
