The San Joaquin County Board of Supervisors will hold an evening study session on the topic of education at the San Joaquin County Office of Education (SJCOE) at 6 p.m. Aug. 11 in the Wentworth Education Center, 2707 Transworld Drive, Stockton.
The topics scheduled for the special session are as follows:
- Overview of K-12 education in San Joaquin County
- Early childhood education
- STEM (science, technology, education, and mathematics) initiatives
- Career-readiness initiatives
