SJCOE Announces Results for Annual County Math Tournament

Discovery Charter School wins first place in fourth- through sixth-grade competition

The Sixth Annual San Joaquin County Math Tournament for grades four through six was held on Saturday, April 9, at the San Joaquin County Office of Education (SJCOE). About 180 students competed in the high-energy event. Overall there were 27 teams of fourth- through sixth- graders from 17 schools around San Joaquin County. Every year a few students receive a perfect or nearly perfect score. These students are recognized as the highest scoring individuals. This year there are 17 highest scoring individuals, the most the tournament has ever had.
