Community Involvement

The Community Involvement office at San Joaquin County Office of Education provides services and resources to help build effective partnerships between schools and the community. Our programs help teachers and schools build effective collaborations with community partners including parents, community based organizations and businesses.

Community Involvement also provides information and support to educators and community based organizations interested in involving youth in community service and service learning. When youth are involved in making the community a better place they become participatory citizens, caring individuals and tomorrow's community leaders.
